{quote} Hi, That's the way I see your chart. {image}
Thank you! The way you marked the chart makes a lot of sense and looks very clear. I think I was improperly identifying the main swing and I appreciate your time marking up my chart!

mtz you're trading the IOF and on that order flow I only see 1 entry that I would be a mistake according to my rules, and I've marked it on my chart.
I traded the 144T on Friday and I didn't take any of those trades due to either not liking the rotations or the rotations being too expensive or I just wasn't comfortable with the order flow. IF you're going to trade the immediate you might consider the 144T. I personally feel that the rotations on the 233T are typically too expensive for trading the IOF on the YM.

Thank you for your response! I always appreciate your charts and have learned quite a bit from your posts!
I guess it was just a rough day for trading the IOF and I got caught with losers while missing out on most of the winners.
Would you say your method of filtering out trades improves your overall expectancy? Would love to hear your opinion on filtering trades and how your entry rules differ from Damian's!

Thanks again bmdenton. I appreciate your help!

Hi all
I am looking for LONG about 25,860 on the YM

Pair-me-up Feb 19, 2019 10:32am | Post# 44705

I am watching the price action. My bias is for the bears, however, with that strong sudden move up with power into my take profit area.. I am wondering if the bulls are going to attempt to take it a tad higher before the big boys start another major sell off on the bear team.

I had 90 point target but trailed under the short term LH and was taken out for only 6 points.

Good plan; poor execution

Hello bmdenton23,

It was interesting comparing your chart (233)to mine (144). Your TZone is PST?
I am having a little trouble reconciling the high At ~9:00 on my chart. I am using Sierra Charts with CQG data feed.

NNtrader Feb 19, 2019 1:41pm | Post# 44714

YM at the fla tline for the day and I am short from 25,889

11:01 Edit
I don't like these Excursions above 25900.
11:24 It was difficult to hold this position but reacting to my last error of exiting too early but I was stopped at 25,922

Central time CST
The chart I posted would've ended around 8:35 your time.

Hello, No I have not yet moved to Sierra, I plan to do so but there are still some things to do before I make that move.

What are the advantages of Sierra charts that you like? And will your broker be the same with the same commission per contract?

Yes same broker and commission. I have not used Sierra but some of the traders I'm working with use it and swear by it.
