{quote} Hi Evo i don understand why the swing u take will make a nsh.i see sellers very strong.look like going to make nsl
This is what I saw. We broke structure to the upside (horizontal line). Made a shallow NSH, so expect deep correction and then a NSH. Since I was not really sure about my reference swing, I took the shorter one, in order to have a guide about what to expect as a move.
I saw also the bear strength after my reference swing. However, bears should have never allowed that up move (my ref. swing), so I traded this expectation. Moreover, there was heavy structure on the left in the area where I entered. I asked me also the question, if it is that smart to enter on that "down pressure" (all tiny swings had however all deep corrections which reinforced my trade), especially when price went against me and bulls were still at that time on vacation.

Hope this helps.

Man, I don't know what happens today but I've had better days. Made some mistakes, scaled in for a rescue mission which didn't worked out. My breakeven trades all would have worked out and because I totally missed the pink 1:1 completion I didn't took the long but was looking for short because of the shortterm OF.Click to Enlarge

+84 - Entry: Structure, 50% fib, rejection at openprice level. Exit: 1:1.

I saw blue circle entry but I am not sure which is the main swing. In higthsight, there are structure, 50% and 61% fib, 1:1 to the downside.(last leg was not stronger).

Hey Evoc, yesterday I wasn't able to trade but it would be working out just fine. At the end of the week I always backtest that week to see how I would/could have performed and I keep getting the same numbers as with my backtestresults (65/70% of the time at least a BE or profitable result). You can't win everday I guess plus making a couple of mistakes makes it then more worse then it already was

To Mr Pip and all those who share their journeys, I'm super grateful and proud of all you guys do and sacrifice for this thread. I see the markets completely different than I have the last 12 years.

One of my favorite sayings is: "what we do in life becomes our history, what we set into motion becomes our legacy". Mr Pip, you have set into motion more than you know with your contributions here. Your legacy extends way beyond your family. Deep Thanks!

EURUSD short
This trade really tested my patience..
It is a good example of how your trade is not necessarily lost when you see strong moves going against you.
That's why I wanted to share it..

"Am I happy to see this strength against my trade? No. Does my tradeplan say to exit the trade when I'm not happy? No. Should I do something now? No. "

I would use the blue swing as a swing, if you're trading that smaller orderflow.

Since this is a thread about harmonics, then I think this file might help you.

It shows that in order to be considered a valid correction, you need a correction of at least at 38.2% to 88.6%.
Anything less than a 38.2% just means that you have one really long swing.
Anything that is more than 88.6% means you might want to change your directional bias.

Anyways.. I hope this helps.

You can try to close NT8 and when it prompts you whether to save all or not, choose do not save all. When you restart the platform again, your old charts will reappear. Hope this helps....

I also had that problem often
There is a setting under Tools-->Options that will pop up a confirmation window when you accidentally click the close button of a chart or a window.
