I stumbled across this EMA crossover pattern which can capture some staggering trends on the following Aussie pairs:

AUD/USD
GBP/AUD
AUD/JPY

Also works with:

EUR/USD
GBP/USD
USD/CHF

System Rules

On a 30 minute chart place a 14 EMA and 28 EMA both applied to close. When the 14 EMA crosses above the 28 EMA then buy, when the 14 EMA crosses below the 28 EMA then sell.

Stop loss: 20 pips

Take Profit: When price goes past both ema's

You'll probably get stopped out 2 out of 3 times but the one time you don't you'll catch something big.

Can someone backtest this system properly say for the last 2 years or even longer, the longer the better.

Here is an idea... How about you backtest it since it is your system (or is it?).There are plenty of MA EA's out there to help so stop being lazy, it'll get you nowhere!

ps, really enjoyed how you just copied and pasted someone elses work as your own onto another forum...
