Can someone clarify this?
 
Hi all, i hope you guys can help me to clarify this, i wonder why the candle has gone up not down:

i wonder..

1. did i draw the lines wrongly?
2. is this one of the examples where mouteki is not working?

or..

3. i should only open my position only on tuesday? (i open the position in friday)
4. i should wait for the next week?

all your answers are really appreciated

Could it just be because the market doesn't always move as we expect it to?

As for the lines, if you draw the trendline from the two previous lows
(08-01-2007 @ 08:00 am (gmt+2) and 02.07.2006 @ 00:00), the body of the candles would still show inside the uptrend, having bounced at the trendline.

Don't forget fundamentals as well...

Yes

No trade will do what we think it should just because we've followed our plan. All you need to do is accapt that you will have winners and losers and that Money Management will make the difference between staying in the game, or not.

Totally agree...

The market moves in mysterious ways, and can/will be irrational many times. Money Management is what saves our bacon...
