I join PeteSchaweaty in his question

Just out of curiosity, what broker is everyone using. I have tried 2. Altair and FXCM. Neither have 17:00 NY close candles. Any recommendations?

@ all - was where ever an attempt to code an EA for this system ? Or does even an EA exist anywhere ?

How do you guys deal with the problem that depends on your Broker time,
you have different H4 and D1 candles,

thereby completely different MA 365 and MA 200 chart pictures ?

Hi,
Are you sure man? I don't even know if thats possible. The daily bar should end when one of the 4hr bars ends. Who is your broker?

Hm, thats the problem. "I don't even know if thats possible."
To much newbies having no clue.
But thanks for the answer, i think it will be one of the few..
Have a look at D1.

2 people, with 2 different Brokers..
hAving a look at the same Chart..Me, one of them.

So the rules or patterns are completely different or have to be adjusted..

Excuse me?? I try to help and you insult?

Look i didnt want to be rude but, your question is actually idiotic. Doesn't matter if your daily bar ends at 6 or 5.

I have been trading for 7 years including this system for 6, so show some respect, especially to those who go out of their way to try to help you.

Good Luck, you're on your own

Really doesn't make a difference on the time that much. Sometimes you could get a signal on one time chart and next time you may get it on another. Set up demo accounts with different times if you like. Works the same either way.

Hello, everybody, my English is not good,When Price Close 8EMA,When MACD signal Admission is given, the fluctuations has ended, how can I do

Hello people,
I am from Germany and watch this post a few weeks.
My English is not so good. Sorry. I have a few questions. It would be nice if an experienced Trade could answer my questions extensively.

I've loaded the 4h MACD_FX_Strategy and the MACD Colorred_v104 on my PC.

About 4h MACD_FX strategy:

What does the green Roundover line?
What does the red line Under Round?
What the instructions below bedeutetn right?
Rhythm = 1 Weak Bull Rhythm Strength
Rhythm = 2 Strong Bull Rhythm Strength
Rhythm = 2 Strong Bear Rhythm Strength

My question to MACD_Colored_v104:

What do the numbers right in the indicator?

Maybe you have a few tips on how the system is correctly applied.

Thank you and greetings from Germany

frank

My question...
i use ver 103 but if i remember correctly:

The numbers on the right of the indicator show you how many pips it will take to change the colour of the current macd bar.

As for bull/bear strength rythym, that simply shows the speed of the market while it is trending. In a strong trend price will move off the 8 ema then back again then away again. In normal trending rhythym it will use 21 to move off. Of course i am stating all this in context of the overall rythym using the 89 and 200 as well.

If you post a close up of the indicator on your chart i may be able to help you more or at least confirm what i am saying.
Hope that helped a little.

I plan my trades from the weekly and daily....Then go to lower tf to find my entry....Target and stop are indicated on chart....I expect it may retest 0.9950 early next week, before moving up. That is where the 21/89 are stacked on top of each other on the weekly. So it may be tempting price to rush back for a quick touch. Also I was thinking of breaking it down on daily/4hr/1hr so i can show you the total breakdown of the trade but to be honest i am fairly busy, and there is not much traffic here anymore...

Mr Tomson,

I am sure the number on the very right of the indicator is the amount of pips the current bar needs to change colour.

Not sure what you mean by:

"What does the green Roundover line?
What does the red line Under Round?"

However i did some digging around: check out post 6742 on page 450 by palmer. He made those additions to the indi and that post may help explain it to you. Hope that helps.

Hello,

I am brand new to Forex trading and just came across Phillip's 4HR MACD trading system. I am going to start studying his system and was wondering if there was anyone out there that is currenly using his system that would like to network with me. In other words, someone that I can learn from and hopefully they can learn from me. I would like to communicate with people that are currently trading or will be trading his system daily so we can compare our daily trades. To learn from each other as far as entry points and exit points and what we could have done better. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks, Scott

Hi Frank,

Welcome aboard. I got this 'nostalgic' stuff from fxtradeblog.com - *sigh - which explained about the
instruction on the bottom right.

I hope Philip come up with a new blog.

The SMA 89 represented by the thick red line (1.2660) provide a good support for a while. EURUSD nicely pulled back related to EURJPY move.

I will watch closely the price action around the decision-making EMA 21.
