I just found you, great system, but I have a question. There are so many currency pairs to follow; is there an alert that has been developed for the current version of MT4, that will advise you when price has crossed the cloud, the T3 line and the Trix has crossed? That way I can then evaluate before entering a trade. I have read the entire thread and may have overlooked it so any assistance would greatly appreciated? |
Let me clarify my last post. If I have lets say, 20 charts open, looking for an alert that will say to look at the xyz pair as price is now below the cloud, T3 line and Trix lines have crossed. I am on demo right now and I keep missing that "perfect setup" as I am late to the party. |

Greetings All old and new friends: I haven't been visiting the good ole THV and Cobra brother for the past ten years. I earnestly hope all of you are doing well, both health wise and trading wise. Could someone please help to direct me to the latest version o THV please? That said, I suppose th version 4 is just as applicable? Take care all. Have a good one Jeff |

Thank you very much. ricmi. Cheers. |
1 Attachment(s) Hi, i'm going to develop a dashboard that will list all 28 PAIRS and the current state of the 4 lights, the problem is i don't know what Coral5box is, do any of you? Plus is my description correct on the rest of the lights? |
How do you set the cloud without those extra lines that come with the indicator? I find those lines very confusing and unnecessary. TIA Have a good one Jeff |
Hello everyone ![]() I've been on the forums for years, back from Cobra first started the THV thread and then the different iterations with contributions from MissPips and stratman etc. It's a pity the thread isn't as active as it used to, probably due to the part where the massive amounts of time dedicated to the EA didn't quite translate to a plug and play profit making machine ![]() Anyway, I need a bit of help. Maybe from one of the long serving members of the thread like ricmi or MissPips if she is still around. I'm not much of a Metatrader person, I'm currently trading on the Dukascopy JForex platform as well as the Interactive Brokers platform, and they run on Java and Python respectively for their automated trading platform. I'm having some trouble translating from MT4 to those respective languages, mainly because of the indicator logic due to the fact that all the files are in .ex4 format. I'm not asking for the source files, but mainly to help with the logic behind the more important indicators so that I can replicate them in both Python and Java. The two indicators that have me stuck are the Fast and Slow Trix values, and the mathematical logic behind the Coral line so that I am able to replicate those using standard available indicators on the platforms instead of building it from scratch as a custom indicator. Thank you in advance for any help offered ![]() |

Very Nice ricmi. So, do you use a currency meter of some sorts to confirm it would fall? ish |

Can anyone here help me find a specific indicator? What I had in mind was a MTF THV Trix-based indicator that shows red or green bars (not a histogram, just bars), instead of the conventional double moving-average Trix oscillator. I'm pretty sure it exists, because I've seen screenshots of similar indicators, but can't quite find the exact one I'm looking for. Thanks for any help you may have to offer. |
