Oanda FXnews

Does anyone use it? Under Economy/ Economic Reports it looks like it catches most of the important stuff... is it reliable/fast?

I've started using it. I combine it w/reports from forexfactory and dailyfx.com. It is a useful way to look at the market. Are you talking about FXNewsEffects?:

I have just looked at FXNews today for the first time.

Wondering how it compares to other news services? Whilst I am not a news trader, I would like the have it up to see what is moving the market. I supose it would not be as quick as a dedicated Reuters service (such as Kobra), but for a free service, how does it go?

I dont think he is talking about what you highlighted. There is a new feature on Oanda FXNews.. IFR Thompson ... fxcm has it too. Much handier on Oanda. It is on one of the pull down menus. At the top.

But your link is great too. Good for seeing the results of past news announcements. That one is harder to find on the Oanda site.

I find that it leads GFT's news feed by as much as 10 minutes depending on the news event and covers much more.

This doesn't include items marked in red here at the FF. Those are about the same time.

I utilize it myself and am quite happy with it.
