It's crazy.

Everything else is trying to make a small retracement, and Gold is like ."I'm not trying to budge!" It looks like someone slip gold some trading viagra or something.

Dow up, EUR/USD up...

so as a forex trader, we need to keep watching dow as well...tough profession.

Nothing will be enough to save the euro

S&P and dow start to look shacky so they might not make it.
If gold lead the sheep then it started ralling so early before being mature may plan the failure beforehand. But still anything can happen , gold back to proper level & reinforce bull again , otherwise it can't continue rally for long time .

I trade on a weekly basis, so there are those times when certain aspects of the calender slips my observation. I did see of FF that The eu banking system would be shut down, but didn't realize we would be also. I don't celebrate but one holidays so sometimes situations like this can catch me with my pants down.

Market has taught me to adapt and take each trading day as differently.

Anything can happen..at the moment euro bulls are winning..market can change its mood in a 1 hour/1 day or even 1 week time.

Yeah, the 61.8% Fib retrace is right there with that daily TL. With the option expiration we might have a little fixing going on during the lower volume. That looks like a great place to sell.
