Apparently...if not All 'member states' are in deep s**t...most many are.

'...We, Germany and France, are committed to our responsibility for the EU without any ifs and buts and we will ...'

Very noble!
Back to reality, let's see, wait to see how they will foot the bill.
It is open to interpretation how this gesture can up the EUR.

Time of writing @1.0910/11...will short EUR/USD.

Not worthy of you mate..
Enough with this partisan political nonsense in the context of the challenges the whole world is experiencing
The US deploys 63,000 troops in Europe. The European nations deploy 1.5 million troops.
Russia deploys less than 1 million troops. Reality is that purpose most European US military establishments in Europe serve as link and support bases for US adventurism in middle East. Nothing to do with a European Defense commitment

There are tons of news floating around and it could be this or it could be the fact that EU is slowly opening again after lockdown. It could also be that shares are just trading with a big discount. Dont know. What matters is why I didnt catch that run. At least I didnt go short at any point so a zero day for me and I think I will stay on the sideline for the rest of the evening.
