    Information received since the Federal Open Market Committee met in December indicates that the labor market remains strong and that economic activity has been rising at a moderate rate. Job gains have been solid, on average, in recent months, and the unemployment rate has remained low. Although household spending has been rising at a moderate pace, business fixed investment and exports remain weak. On a 12‑month basis, overall inflation and inflation for items other than food and energy are running below 2 percent. Good decision by FED with policy under review. Now for BREXIT - 31 Jan 2020. Saw EU spokesman on CNN earlier today - communicating EU best wishes to the UK and saying "This is not Good Bye, it is only "Au revoir" (Until we see you again). Let's see what happens on Friday and Monday.

While I disagree about the "dovishness" I do have a question for you about the coronavirus and safe havens:

In times when the VIX goes above 20 and it is RISK OFF people have traditionally bought JPY, CHF and USD.

Right now its not risk off but if the coronavirus starts to expand to cause a risk off condition how do YOU think it will affect USD? Still the go to in a crisis or not so much anymore?
