video Stocks climbed Thursday, hitting record highs as the market rallied into the end of 2019. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 105.94 points, or 0.37%, to 28,621.39, while the S&P 500 climbed 0.51% to 3,239.91. The Nasdaq Composite finished the day 0.78% higher at 9,022.39, topping the 9,000 mark for the first time ever. Three major averages all hit new all-time highs. Amazon led the gains, jumping more than 4% after the e-commerce giant said the holiday shopping season broke all records. Trading volumes remained thin this week. Trump is no longer relevant to forex trading success. All the wrong decisions have already been made. If you think share index highs mean anything at all then I pity your expected returns on forex. And if you think record highs are due to politics then you'd better switch to Democrat. We used to wonder if there was other intelligent life in the universe but now it's a wonder about on Earth itself.

Trump said the dollar was too strong. Result: USD fell.
Trump said he wanted the dollar very strong. Result: USD skyrocketed.
US economic balance closed 2019 stronger than the last two decades. Result: Share market skyrocketed.
That's Trump's relevance to the FX/Share market.

The stock market is stable until the election of the president is clear.
After that, he will sell heavily, regardless of whether Trump remains president.
Trump will only impose tariffs and bans on Chinese products after the election, currently he cannot afford it.
