Don't know about all that. GBP is a loser. Would be quite some time before I would long it. Any runups I will always consider fake because that is all I have seen. When Brexit is good and done and final, I still suspect that will be fake!

What is the Labour Party in favor of if they happen to win and form majority Government? A second referendum?

If only they knew - today it could be a second referendum but by tomorrow - who knows.

you are right - you can complain all you want. Dial down those expectations, otherwise you just live in constant upset.

I find complaints about the timeliness of 'news' baffling. Timely news reports or gossip should be somewhat irrelevant. The markets aren't going to wait for a start gun to allow everyone to line up equally. Markets work on the basis of pricing in best guesses about the future, not on historical certainties.

If you plan constantly on the basis of 'what if's', based on informed news backdrops, decide on possible trading outcomes, calculate your reward/risk ratio and then decide on your entries and exits in advance, you won't go far wrong. Furthermore, you will then find yourself quite content with uncertainty.

Uncertainty, rumour, gossip and opinion is the energy that provides momentum and volatility in the markets and with that, margins for profit. News merely releases the tensions and provides the foundation for new parameters to be set again. It's the feedback loop.

Constantly bemoaning the lack of certainty in the future or present would suggest you're in the wrong game, especially in this age of 'bots'.

said the person who was upset that a free (FREE!!) news website didn't have the news fast enough! hahaha you have got to be kidding yourself!
FF is free, so its in the business of getting people stuck on the site to make ad revenue, by whatever means available, simple as that.

cough up the dough if you want immediate news releases

DaJoWaBa is very accurate

The pending news only provide an indication of direction or the driver behind the market movement, you need more than just the news to successfully trade long term

Still no guarantees. You've got to be damn quick on the trigger to catch the first surge and you are at high risk of not getting filled instantly.
