    From cnbc.com

A Banksy painting depicting primates conducting business as usual in British Parliament fetched a whopping 9.88 million Euros at an auction Thursday, or about $12.2 million. The painting, entitled “Devolved Parliament,” sold for almost nine times its previous price after a 13-minute bidding war, Sotheby’s auction house announced in a tweet. The Banksy work was originally displayed in 2009 and called “Question Time,” but the “Devolved Parliament” item sold Thursday has some differences with the earlier version, according to the New York Times. I like to see this Banksy character become a member of the Parliament or become the prime minister to see how he/she is going to resolve the problem. So far he/she is just a complainer not only about Brexit but about all subjects of his/her montages.
One thing I can give credit to is that he/she knows how to make money by using intrigue and mystique. I hope the money is donated to good causes.

For a piece of satirical art created 10 ish years ago, Banksy could not have dreamed just how relevant it would be to today's parliamentary discourse....

Mind you this is not the first time in history that Parliament has been this addled...

Is it always easy and convenient to sit on the side commenting how inept and selfish all the politicians are to make such a mess? But the stalemate and fierce fighting in the parliament is exactly what should be expected after such a close referendum.

Looking for a "harmonious" legislature that couldnt wait to greenlight everything? China is your country of choice.

Experience has taught me that the default position in politics tends from ineptitude combined with a liberal splattering of self agrandisement to that which we have now - complete anrchy on the benches - each with their own unique reasons... Rare is the truly selfless individual who puts themselves forwards and promotes themselves for election to such an august body of people.

We could do worse - of that I'm sure, but we could also do better - of that I am absolutely certain...

I don't need to look at it, although imagine it's amazing.

But....

Isn't it really insulting for the primates????

No offense taken. Yes it was judgemental, but the piece is not worth 12 million. Someone got totally ripped. Sorry. The piece was weak.
