Johnson didnt even have the balls to attend that press conference.

Realistically why should he?

The UK (under PM May) negotiated with the EU for a breakup deal correct?

The UK parliment didn't agree and therefore it wasn't ratified (May quit)

Now with 2 months to go the UK parliment has no other plans correct? (YES) so why get an extension for the sake of an extension? The UK and EU will NOT agree on a break plan, it is NOT going to happen people.

So plan for the alternative and don't waste time in stupid press releases....

Great Question and I'm SURE you will find multiple answers

My response is this - most people just don't believe anything will happen. Most of the volatility has already been priced into GBP so basically it's just rangebound until October; as the deadline approaches volatility should increase.

Trouble is Johnson can't just not seek an extension (especially if court ratify legality of what parliament did) so he has to ask if there isn't a deal gone through. EU doesn't have to say yes. In fact it would work for PM Johnson if they said No. He would have complied with UK parliament compelling him into such action and still got the outcome He and his government realistically expected to achieve. UK leaves end October, there is no agreement in place, and then everyone gets on with it both sides of the channel and starts making things work. The Taoiseach Varadker will have overplayed his hand and got nothing other than a headache of a difficult position which in turn would make him more ready to actually cooperate with finding a solution that works for both sides. The roads will clear soon enough. Trade will happen, and UK industry will change for better for worse - time will tell. That's one possible event line...
there are others...

In addition, and correctly so, having been treated as the empty gas filled plastic bag that he is by the LUX PM. This is a diplomatic scene, sledomly having been seen b4. Caused by Lux PM? No, caused by BoJo, The junior of his masters voice in the west. Sitting, barking nicely. Away sails Scotland. And what's next?

Good

Logical

But big business is big liars....
So they will try everything to stop Brexit .

You know i hate Brexit liars?
Noone likes them either (unless it's fat, boomer, retired ,drunk ,unemployed , fat, coach potato bum).....

Ok.
So how will Brexit get cancelled?

UK parliament can vote outright.

EU can extend.

You asked why???

Because damn liars in Europe bent and destroyed all principles of justice when that sick EU court of fog masterspseudo justice stated "yea yea every party can withdraw from Brexit by just farting".
What frigging law principle is that??????

So if Euro crooks can do that, so can cancel Brex.

Simple eh?

To TudorLoan, I will not even waste the effort in responding, and to deltaone, who has also long since placed me on his ever growing ignore list, the desire to preserve the culture, laws, institutions and heritage of the country I am proud to call my own means that to his like, I am nothing better than a xenophobic racist. As to his cheap, unprovoked criticism of my activity here on forex factory, totally unrelated to the topic here being discussed and clearly demonstrating some kind of grudge toward me, I will refrain from stooping to his petty level, except to say that he may wish to post endless streams of entries for others to see, devoid of any technical back up or explanation, but I do not. I choose to post technical analysis and levels I see as important, always backed up with charts for others to hopefully learn and benefit from, for which I have had a good deal of positive feedback from many traders which I always appreciate. Those who wish to ignore my posts because I do not sit here posting lives trades, can do so.

OH YES, FOR SURE! People, ie UK people, will pay for decades to come for entering that clown's tent!!
I said it two years ago; Cameron will go to history, not only for having crashed the UK out of Europe, but also for having killed the Conservative Party as well as imploding the UK. And down to the bottom Brittania went. For the better for the parties remaining above the surface. Rule the remainders.

Please. Finally stop the stupid thinking that The UK (with or without "controlled borders") should be any smarter or wiser or more creative than any other country of Europe. Europe 27 will not allow any UK tax haven to develop at low tax duties. It will be taxed all over the top. Which of the European countries would still keep plummings on the outside their houses? Which European car manufacturer would keep the Lukas (inverted) electrical system in their cars? Which European country would even consider to drive the cars on the left side of the road? Scotland will be utmost welcome "back" to the European union. with it's fishing industry. With it's oil reserves. Today we buy our tea directly from India and Ceylon. Sccotland will supply us with the fish and chips. And oil. And Whiskey.
Financial institutions ha already started to transfer their business activities to Frankfurt and Paris. Even Zurich.

BoJo is nothing but a big belly balloon; a B(l)O(w)JO(b). That lied to and shamed The Queen.
