Hmm. It appears that EUR part of EUR/USD popped up after this news. How does this mean stronger EURO?

Is this because the Germans have mentioned that they think weak Euro policy is bad?

Bull trap...euro will still go towards 1100, so anything between 1225-50 is a good scalp short.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

Online Addict shouldn't have went to get that cup of coffee, lol he went to the kitchen and came back needing some doughnuts to sweetin up the bad taste of the EUR going the wrong direction. LOL j/k dude I don't think it will do much just from the tag line - It says MULL that's the key word in all of it. Mull means its just talk - now if it was definite it would be going way up in the short term since the EUR is so beat up

I don't have any EU trades open...I am waiting for a re-test of 1050, until then I stay out of EU.

I understand, they must be annoyed with financing other EU countries to blow money away. Why not take part in the party and launch a super expensive green new deal?

The EU will soon be worthless anyways.

I heard that - remember when the EUR used to do fast and furious moves back in the day. Nothing like it today. I remember one time when the USD/JPY ran 300 pips in 5 mins from an intervention and man I got jacked from that thinking wow I don't know if I should get into this kind of trading lol. Those days seem lost now to make the quick money. Now you have to sit and wait.

Amazing how long it took the "all knowing and immediately discounting" Mr. Market to figure out that this money/debt would be blowing in the wind ... instead of support bad child care and schools ...

Online - I'm still waiting to see if it goes down to the gap down around the 1.08,1.07 area at some point in the near future. I don't believe all of the gap theory, but some of them do happen. If it does i'll ride the gap

Scalpers heaven opportunist moves inside higher timeframe consolidation. Looking at nice pin bar/'shooting star' forming on the EURGBP. Fake-out breakout? Time will tell. ;-)

Yeah, EU volatility is dead...thats why I had to do start looking into other pairs this summer, because I was so sick of the 20 pip moves all day, gave me headaches.

But I still think once EU is finished with the bottoming, it will start spiking up again, with some big moves. Just waiting for the right entry. 1050 might be it, will see how price acts there.

There is also a gap around 1.32, when we talk gaps. So probably better to leave both alone.

Big moves in a shallow market tend to fizzle out. Words may trigger a move, but actions provide follow through with momentum.

I bet Trump comes out and mentions now/today that the Treasury is not ruling out doing something to weaken the dollar. That would be interesting...

Possible big news going to be breaking and institutions closing out positions. they call in some favors put out B.S. news items and exit with size. That is what manipulation is for.
Germany appears to be squirming here and that will precede a decision.
Lamplighter I'd agree is calling it right.
