The USA should use the money from the increased tariffs on the incoming Chinese goods to help purchase the goods from the USA farmers and then use these goods (soybeans, wheat, corn, etc.,) to send to Central American countries to help feed the people - IF they agree NOT to try to come to the USA.

I just responded in another news thread with this statement:
They could manufacture their products in the U.S. like they did before transferring manufacturing plants en masse to China

is it correct that he wants to take money from American consumers of Chinese goods: clothes, toys, digital devices, metallurgy, in favor of the producers of soybeans, beans and then give it to the starving countries by non-democratic methods?

Maybe also increase the income tax on middle class and send food to Africa and other poor countries. There are a lot of people in need on our planet. Just make sure not to increase the taxes on the richest 10% as we don't want to see them suffer in any way. America first! Go Trump!

No, you are NOT correct. No money will be taken from USA consumers.

Consumers ONLY pay for tariff's INDIRECTLY and ONLY if they purchase those products.

Example.

The tariff of Chinese "widgets" doubled (think of a widget as a decorative piece) so Wal-Mart must pay the extra tariff to purchase the widgets. Then Wal-Mart can increase the price of the widget to make up the tariff (this means the consumer pays the tariff) OR Wal-Mart can absorb some or all of the tariff because they do not want to lose market share for selling low priced widgets.

Why are you so interested in wealth re-distribution? In the USA the top 10% of income earners pay over 53% of the USA Federal Taxes (https://www.cnsnews.com/commentary/c...nt-all-federal).

China sells all goods for $ 375 billion to America in 2016, the 2019 tariff for all goods of China is +375 billion dollars from the consumer of these goods - these are American citizens of a democratic country giving money to the hungry people of other countries - why?

Because the tariffs hit mostly the poor and middle class who consume most of their income. Tariffs are just another form of a tax and it doesn't matter how you collect it. Tariffs distribute wealth from middle class and poor to the rich.
A strong middle class is needed for good economy. Who is going to buy all the products if the middle class can't afford them?
The wealth distribution in USA is one of the most unequal in the industrialized world and in the long run that will hurt the economy.
"America’s 1% hasn’t controlled this much wealth since before the Great Depression" https://www.marketwatch.com/story/wealth-inequality-in-the-us-is-almost-as-bad-as-it-was-right-before-the-great-depression-2018-07-19
You need to ask Trump why he wants USA to tax the poor in USA and send food to the starving in other countries. It is a noble idea but I'm having a hard time understanding how it fits his America first strategy..
