Its evolution look at previous revolutions be them industial and see people stacked in workshops all day and night - this change however is not only digital it is robotic which then leaves a big gap with people what are they to be done with they cant work robots do that our digital payments are all sorted we dont need cash so the sheep in this instance really do have to be put out to pasture the question is how will this be done and when? Remember people are made to work they have to work that is society and now pretty soon give it a generation x 2 and people will only be needed for what ? now who ever can answer that question gets a gold star for sure? Look how far we have come since Stephenson and his rocket train, just think the same time span from internet to what? only problem one can notice is perhaps too many people on this planet and Mars will be a VIP invite only if indeed you wish to go and is that is so then this place we call home will by then be pretty fucked up and you will gladly leave. Remember governments and controllers hate people its that simple so spare no thoughts for compassion in the future it will be less to the point of being interned somehow again the question is for what and to do what i suspect plans have already been made for future generations already.

Assuming our tendency to develop weapons of increasing destructive power are not unleashed by some power upon our planet. We see America has already made a couple of wars in the east ( Weapons of mass destruction etc) thanks bush/Blair. The Spring uprisings engineered to overthrow middle east powers have backfired re Syria etc, leading to rise of terrorism and Economic power is shifting to the east. East West jockeying for economic dominance or maintenance of same. Then we pollute everything on Earth. Add a few epidemics and economic uncertainty over job losses could see social upheaval due to worsening living standards. The upside ? Could see new inventions needing new skills, altered social systems not needing increasing levels of production simply to increase surplus over need just to increase earning for some investor. yes- highly unlikely ?
