    From @realDonaldTrump

Many good conversations with North Korea-it is going well! In the meantime, no Rocket Launches or Nuclear Testing in 8 months. All of Asia is thrilled. Only the Opposition Party, which includes the Fake News, is complaining. If not for me, we would now be at War with North Korea!

How come that suddenly NK changes attitude and start dreaming on fancy prosperity promises from US? or maybe they were promised a free visit to Las Vegas ...
No more nuke tests because now it is production phase. NK is buying time and one day will play upset.

He was the one threatening NK with war so who else could have started the war other than him? So, he saved us from a war which he could have started??? Great.
How about saving us from a trade war too?

At the risk of dishonoring of FF Rules, I would like to put a bet on with anyone who cares to take it.. that despite all the wearysome celeb posturing and self congratulation of the current US POTUS, there will be NO DENUCLEARISATION of NK.. EVER.. (History teaches us that you can never put the genie, once established, back in the box) and that all the publicity the photo opportunities for both sides has done is create international credibility for a regime that has only one vulnerability.. China.,, who could and would if it came to it.. crush it in a New York minute. China will be the economic powerhouse of the twenty first century. Yes.. it scares me.. and makes me uncomfortable..but it is unstoppable.

America is still at war with North Korea. An armistice was declared, but no peace treaty was signed, so that means the 25th June 1950 war has not officially ended.

War would not make the americans shy away, they have much more fight than ginger gun lover he isn't HARD but he doesnt have to be. However what do you do with an ungovernable backward country once you have smashed the regime? Me thinks thats the REAL question? If there is a workround then I would be chasing that without a doubt.

The nationalistic isolation policy is just helping China to becoming the next leading super power. For example withdrawing from TPP directly increased China's influence. China is today sitting on every important negotiation table whereas USA is nowhere to be seen.

imagine being this naive. TPP is a tool of the World Bank, IMF and will create a global third world, ushering in a new era of corporate Feudalism. its the dirtiest trade deal i've ever seen, theres a reason this was done behind closed doors and normal people have never heard of it. allowing corporations to sue governments for impeding on future profits. im absolutely shocked anyone who claims to want to help people would support this parasitism. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnC1mqyAXmw

Yes. This. There's so much more at stake than media reporting.

Where exactly in my message I am expressing my opinion about the contents of the trade deal?

A similar trade deal between USA and EU failed mainly because the EU countries were afraid that the US influence over EU would increase too much because of the terms regarding US companies being able to sue governments. There were also concerns of imports of the much poorer quality of US food (GMO) to Europe.

USA had been able to include those things in the TPP agreement and withdrawing from the agreement was probably good for the other countries but not for USA as they had achieved their goals.

you were implying that withdrawing from the deal was a bad decision. what may be good for US corporations and the people who own them is not so good for everyone else.

you also said 'China is today sitting on every important negotiation table whereas USA is nowhere to be seen.', which aside from being wrong also suggests you believe these '''trade deals''' to be anything other than an attempt to further widen the gap between those who have and those who dont. these trade deals have nothing to do with 'job growth' or 'GDP'

it is easier to simply ignore someone that accept the possibility that you may be wrong

In my message I state that "The nationalistic isolation policy is just helping China to becoming the next leading super power. For example withdrawing from TPP directly increased China's influence. China is today sitting on every important negotiation table whereas USA is nowhere to be seen."

I'm not talking about GDP or any other trade deals in particular or expressing my opinions about what trade deals do. You seem to be totally missing my point which is that by isolating itself, USA is creating a power vacuum and China is more than happy to fill it. They are already doing it.
