My fear is for him throwing some spanner into the works - those two showed a need for reconciliation that may not be easily understood by those outside of the peninsula. Trump might not understand that the situation is not one for seeking to gain a quick score for his political scorecard.

Kim fears a strong man in the white house and that's exactly what he's getting now. After Trump's strike in Syria he rattles the hell out of NK, Rus and China.

N.Korea is not Syria - the USA knows it and so does the rest of world. There are clearly strategic considerations that go well beyond the simplistic notion of fear in play and that is the more grounded understanding of what is going on out there.

This is a smoke screen as North Korea was doing nothing more than flexing a muscle to the new Biff on the block. The rhetoric was a Trump card played till the edges were worn to the point of disclosure. North Korea may denuclearize but not deweaponize. Just word play for the 99% under informed populous. A new boogy man is in the works. The U.S. is incapable of complacency. Nor can it resist passing any rock without turning it over. Adolescent eager to kick any can that is available haphazardly down the road. Be prepared as the acceleration and accumulation of too many tasks outweigh the eagle and as such will not be able to fly for much longer.

Over for 60 years? Somebody has made up their own news.

High IQ? It does specify SOUTH Korea.

Throwing money at them or giving them nuke technology has not had positive results. Trump has already accomplished more than all others before. You can not deny this. To continue provisions agreed to must be verified.

This list was compiled by somebody from Equitorial Guinea.

If you have two countries ranked 'first', the next country is ..... 'third' not second.

I suppose it could be somewhere in the E&OE clause.

Does that mean removing all taxes off all consumer goods and luxury goods. i.e food, fuel, clothing, vehicles, electronics, travel, insurance, capital gains, inheritance / death, drugs, healthcare etc etc, as it is not just income tax ?

It's all game theory and negotiation tactics. And if you understand it you can predict the next step and use that prediction to form the basis of a trade setup. I used this understanding to predict the USDCAD would drop during the steel tariffs/Nafta negotiations. The only problem is, I am not a good trader and my execution let me down, I entered a bit too early and the resulting large drawdown made me nervous and I got out for a much smaller profit than I should have.

Not the smartest trading approach....Its hardly different to Gambling.

Proper trading approaches are sustainable long term and involve trading for PIPS not even profit.

Here is what the 16th Amendment says:
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes,
from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the
several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.
That’s it! That’s the entire text of the Amendment that has caused so much
confusion and trouble.
Historically, Americans of yesteryear were aware that a direct tax was upon their
person, or their real property (including slaves), or their exercise of other
fundamental rights. They were also aware that a tax on the fruits of one’s property
(such as receiving payment from renting a piece of real property) was also a direct
tax unless those earnings where in the course of a privileged activity, and then
they were subject to an excise tax.
In Pollock, the US Supreme Court stated that a tax upon earnings derived from
one’s existing property (real or personal) must be considered a direct tax subject to
the rule of apportionment. This gave rise to concern in banking and government
circles because they felt (and we agree) that corporations are something that is
legislated into existence by the government and therefore the fruits therefrom is
properly subject to an excise tax.
In other words, the Pollock decision made no distinction between a man earning
rent from his private property, and a man earning a return on his investment in a
corporation. The former must properly be considered a direct tax, while the latter
should rightly be considered an excise. The rent from a man’s private property is
his “private affairs”, and thus outside government’s authority to lay any tax except
a direct tax subject to apportionment.
However, profit or gain (to a shareholder) from a corporate enterprise should
properly be income subject to taxation as an excise taxable activity – after all, there would be no opportunity for said profit if the state hadn’t granted the corporation into existence.

Then they nailed the lid shut with the Socialist Security thing, we all have a number and we have all become corporate fictions. That's how they got us, or better said that is how we let our selfs be hoodwinked.

That is just in the USA other places all act about the same

Kim knows whom to fear. This is the reason I love the Republican Party. Muammar Gaddafi abandoned Nuclear race during President George Bush, weeks after Saddam Hussein was captured

The current conundrum can best be described as a “hope for the best, but prepare for the worst” type scenario, in which there are too many known people behind the scenes who have ulterior motives far beyond that of the fruition of a peaceful relationship between North and South Korea – at least not until there is a government in Pyongyang that is more representative of Washington’s economic interests

Well what is wrong with the idea that the young and brilliant Kim simply wants the same progress he sees all around him for his country? But to do that he needs to negotiate away the bellicose and aggressive USA disposition toward his regime and country? Why is it that everyone appears to think (without any justification whatsoever) that the young man comes from another solar system?
