Non Event, in line, positiv tone, but a change in direction of dollar, i don't think so.

Edit, all depends on how the Dow and S&P500 are holding up. We could be in for a bigger correction...

Looks like they are scared to increase interest rates for fear of bursting the stock market bubble. So, with full employment and protectionism and a soaring stock market, what is the likely outcome? Anybody?

Here's Alan Greenspan's view:

Frets about deficits
Says US is working its way towards stagflation
We've got to confront the deficit
Entitlements are eating into gross domestic savings
I suspect a continued fall in the dollar could have an effect on prices
Productivity has been dead in the water for almost 10 years
I think there are two bubbles: A stock market bubble and a bond market bubble
Output per hour is the key determinant of living standards

In the US household spending is all done on credit cards and does not strengthen economic activity, as credit card spending adds $1.2 Trillion of credit card debt to the economy each month.
Don't wait for the wind, take to the oars.

ofc hawkish for mid term and the most importaint number we need to look at is the balance of import and export, if low dollar support for selling oversea so it will be maintained around 80-89 point index..

Small brain make successful trader. Big brain make successful economist and analyst. Make your choice: You either want to sound smart and make yourself a name as an "EXPERT" or you want to appear stupid and make money instead.

When the crowd enters the room, its time to leave. Be the first to enter and be the first to leave. When it is business as usual, it is not usual. When all the people are selling USD, the smart money is buying it up (else who do you think is counter party buying the up the USD shorts order?). When the boat is loaded heavy with USD short, the smart money will sink the boat. Rinse and repeat. Happened before, and it will happen again and again and again ...

are you leaving the room when the first of the crowd is coming in or after half or after the half is really the half now..... you have to have deep pockets to follow that strategy. nothing for retailers.

Well dx closed up a bit not screaming like a rocket but stable for now above 89, if it can stay above that it looks like about 90.300ish. Not a promise just a plan. It seems as long as King dollar creeps higher the others go down?
