    It was a great week to be long U.S. dollars. The greenback traded higher against all of the major currencies. The Australian dollar experienced the steepest losses but the Canadian dollar and euro also traded sharply lower. The Japanese Yen and British pound were the only currencies that managed to hold steady in face of the U.S. dollar’s gains but they even ended the week slightly lower. Nearly every piece of U.S. data released over the past week from third quarter GDP growth to jobless claims, durable goods, new home sales and the Markit PMI indices were better than expected but good data was not the only reason ... She is excellent, her mentality and work is; she is as good on a video. I rank her with a few others including Yohay Elam at fxcrunch, and the 'stable' of analysts at dailyfx among whom probably John Kicklighter has traditionally been the favorite but each analyst over there has strength and is worth reading / listening to for ideas. This isn't a paid ad, it's just that lately I am seeing so clearly what is on offer. I'm used to teaching, the colleagues and day to day of it; there is an entire world of experts in forex and I have picked out ones that warm my heart and assist in success.

One predictible news: Yellen is leaving FED on 4th of November (this is whithin few days).
The new chair, nominated by Trump, will follow his policy of weak dollar.

If the hike is not done while she is still in place, there are 99% chances to see no interest rate hike on the dollar this year.
But since she probably hates Trump, she completely disregarded this little "unimportant" event from her predictions.
I’ve been wondering so many times why would someone, being such a good trader, spend months of time to write a book, instead of cashing in profit by utilizing his/her knowledge about FX trading.
I would never ignore people’s knowledge and I admire their which to share their experiences. But honestly, if you really are such a bid expert, you would probably choose to make big money on trading, not on writing a book.
After all, probably she isn’t that good and writing a book, where she writes what others want to here, is a more lucrative business for her.
Just my thoughts...

Mate, I like your view, but the link you posted together with another link (in another news topic) are about 3 months old.
Not that they don’t represent the truth, but could you provide something fresher? It would be nice to follow the development.

Kathy is one of the only two writers i respect.!!!
She's very good. Few people see the various aspects as she does.
And who's to say she personally wrote the book???
Anyway she's manager - she needs to write to win clients to earn commission $$$$. Simple. Thanks. RESPECT!!!

Regarding your opinion about Kathy - respect, pal. I wasn’t attacking her directly, but just wandered who is dedicating their time to write such book instead of making bigger cash on trading.

You have similar question, when you hear that a trading software system was made from traders for traders. I am a software architect and system developer myself and I know what it takes to create a software system of this kind. When I hear something like that, I ask myself how much did they get paid to create this kind of system?! That must be a big money in order to keep them attracted to the software project and away from trading 😊😊😊

She spends months writing the book because she knows that books sell well, and because she earned nothing from trading.

I liked the headline from the start and made me take a look at it, and have to say ... Aww makes me now wonder who this Kathy is .. i'll be checking links and her articles, and thanx for highlighting this

Long story short: Start selling once price retouches 1.17 and keep shorting until 1.1340

Analyzing winning trade setups and being able to properly execute them is 2 different skill sets. Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach.

Not everyone wants and can handle the ups and downs of trading. It's a very demoralizing occupation and not easy, even when you have the right mindset and a decent trading plan.

As I recall, Kathy teaches breakout trading. Typically, breakout trading is usually more wrong than right.

I was under the assumption that Yellen leaves when her term ends - Feb 3 '18 or something like that, and 4th of Nov is the date when Trump announces his pick.
