Trump could be impeached on Day 1 as he violated the Constitution upon taking the oath. But, when you put the party before country something much more convincing than evidence of corruption will be needed.

I think that's exactly what he want's.
Now that his got the 35 trademarks for his organization with China (deals that he was trying to get for years), got the Russians of his back by giving them classified info. and firing everybody on that investigation, got a huge following that's going to bow down every time he tweets his nonsense.
Why would you want to deal with all the responsibilities and stress that comes with that job for another four years?
Plus he's got all those unrealistic promises that he has to deliver on like ( I will give you everything )
He will allow himself to be impeached and then put the blame on every politician in Washington, he will say that it was him and the american people against the whole parliament and it will be the ' PERFECT EXIT '

This actually could be his plan. He was reported saying that the job as a president showed to be surprisingly difficult and he regrets in a way becoming a president. He is a smart fox, but believe m, he will not be able to walk away unhurt. The authorities will make sure he will pay dearly for the mess he created.

But the people shouldn't care about him being prosecuted, we just want him to get the hell out of the way and let someone competent enough to do the job republican or democrat.

Let me get this straight. The stupid donkey party thinks Trump should have withheld information from the Russians that Isis was putting bombs in laptops? Then what is their excuse when a Russian plane blows up from a laptop , Trump knew about it, and kept it a secret? Think the Russians will forgive Trump because technicality the information was from a third party?

Further proof that the donkey party shouldn't be in charge of ANYTHING.

It appears that POTUSs possible violation of the Emoulments Clause is of sufficient gravity to cause it being investigated by the House bipartisan Oversight Committee***.
It would have been much smarter of Mr Trump not to try to be so smart, on matters like this and that of refusal to disclose his tax returns. Dodging issues of integrity in public office like these, are unhelpful to his effectiveness. And an issue in which his "Art of the Deal" philosophy/MO. have no place.
The net result is a challenge to his need as POTUS to develop and create public confidence from the middle ground citizen behind his administration and his personal integrity... which curent opinion would suggest is so far pretty grim.
