Where did she say that? I believe she said that "no deal was better than a bad deal"

The EU has been secretly plotting to block Theresa May over EU migrants for weeks

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017...y-eu-migrants/

The EU has no positive message for the the European electorate who are becoming in increasingly frustrated and disillusioned with this self serving bureaucracy and are resorting to their usual threatening behaviour. The EU is trying to undermine the UK election and the French election through bully boy tactics, threats and blackmail. This is the respect the EU has for democracy

PM, this is a divorce suit. Unfortunately, it's going to be primarily conducted by negotiations not by a third party judiciary. Of course in a negotiation the stronger party naturally dictates the terms.

Oh no so when we go nationalistic and want the best deal the UNFAIR EU also does that! Sad!

We kept insulting them for months during Brexit calling them good for nothing bureaucrats who knew they were watching and maybe are out to prove we won`t get that good deal we now desperately need!

Wonder at what point the people of the UK will figure out that maaaaybe the leave side was not fully honest about having a plan that will make the UK come out well off.

Mrs May..Im suprised... this smacks of panic.
She says ...

Britains negotiating position has been misrepresented in the continental press.?
Shock horror.. and what have the UK press been doing for years?

The EUs negotiating stance has hardened. Threats against Britain have been issued by European politicians and officials.
More shock horror..???? What have her own ministers been doing for last 9 months?

All of these acts have been deliberately timed to affect the General Election on the 8th of June.
Oh really.. nothing to do with the fact that you initiated Article 50 two weeks ago after two trips to High and Supreme Courts, pissing around for 9 months when the people had already made their decision? and now calling a GE right afterwards?

"there are some in Brussels who do not want these talks to succeed..."???
Well hers some news.. there a shedload of people, civil servants and politicians in LONDON who dont want them to succeed. Thats the way it is. No point in crying about it. Get on with it.

We in UK NEED strong leadership ..and this whinging ISNT IT.
Im disappointed.

EDIT: Just watched this rant again. Embarrassing.
As Birrel wrote today.." withstruggling health services, inadequate housing supplies or creaking social care, she embarks on whinge and the same pathetic response:
Britain needs a strong leader to negotiate the best deal with Brussels and stabilise its economy.

Who does not want the negociations to succeed? The Remain side surely want, and it looks like the brexit side is trying a pretty hard negociating with the EU. And it really looks like the EU who set the rule...

The only strong leadership would be someone who does not stoop to the EU diktat.

What is this Theresa smoking !? Look the UK has no shortage of nutters so the torries will win anyway. She's clearly completely lost the plot, there's absolutely no coming back from this.

Embarrassing, politics is not for crybabies.

If I were May, I'd consider the following:
1. Tell the EU that you are going to suspend negotiations for an unspecified period of time
2. Focus all your energies on trade negotiations with the US, China, Japan, So Korea, Russia, etc and get as many deals done as possible, as soon as possible
3. Tell NATO that you are going to put your membership up for review, and suggest that the EU consider large increased in defense spending to make up the loss of UK participation, then work with the US and Canada to form a new defense arrangement.
4. Offer up special trade deals to Italy, France, Spain, etc. if they decide to leave the EU in the not too distant future.

People in Italy will never vote for leaving EU. Bad memories of lira inflation and high population savings don't play well for leave vote. France is the founding member, if it leaves EU will no longer exist. When I talk to people they are fed up with current establishment, but majority doesn't want to vote for Le Pen. She's just not likeable. If they have to choose between investment banker and populist, they will choose first one, even if they don't like him either. Spain is a different story. Record high unemployment among youth could easily be translated into "spexit" if things don't improve.

I think after article 50 there ia a period of 2 years so wasting time doesn't seem the best thing to do.

As you probably know trade negotiations take a long time and i don't think that going and cry to America is going to help a lot, since trump wants whats best for America according to him, so the deal wouldn't be great, I think.I thought the general consensus in England is that Russia is not to be trusted?

I think that the only country that is in danger of living is France, if Le pen wins Spain is very pro EU so is Italy

I do agree with Nato

Yep she's a wannabe milk snatcher and she believes that by claiming the EU is the enemy and a severe threat she will win more votes.

Oldest populist trick in the book and it works.

It is not Theresa May who believes that the EU is the enemy, more importantly, it is 52% of the UK electorate who know the EU is the enemy of the UK and European electorate
