  • China fears 'conflict at any moment' over N Korea

    From bbc.com

China has warned that "conflict could break out at any moment" as tension over North Korea increases. Foreign Minister Wang Yi said if war occurred there could be no winner. Mr Wang's comments come as the US voices increasing concern at North Korea's development of nuclear weapons and deploys a Navy carrier group off the Korean peninsula. China, North Korea's only backer, fears conflict could cause the regime to collapse and problems on its border. Mr Wang said: "Lately, tensions have risen between on the one hand the United States and the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and on the other, the DPRK (North Korea) ... (full story)

Yep, don't worry probably just a quick painful death. North Korea is not some defenseless countries in Africa and Middle East.

Remember that it's is the USA that is threatening them with a pre emotive strike. It's the USA that have 40,000 troops on there border. It's the USA that has crippled the country with economic sanctions.
It's the USA that keeps invading countries for numerous excuses to protect the universe

A normal person would not kill his relatives because they do not agree with the way he leads the country.

I think you are disoriented. Ask yourself who wants to tolerate a crazy person like KJU sitting on nuke and a powerful army. IMO no one.
Does this guy now what NATO means and the purpose and the power of it? If not, then I think he will soon find out.
Anyways let's hope that a dialog will prevent a war.

NK has broken UN rules for decades. NK has committed horrendous human rights violations, and oppression of its own people for decades. If you stick up for that nut job dictator, then you condone its conduct. The USA is the only country that will attempt to remove such a dictator. Are the Swiss? Or, do the Swiss condone the NK ideology?

Apart from spending huge amounts of money, why is not a tactical team sent in the take him out. Clearly this is not the real reason the US have sent a massive unit to be deployed right on the coast of China. I think that the clear purpose of this is to create a situation where an attack is vindicated, then the US make a claim to protect SK and station a huge force down there to hold the peace. The reason is to set American forces right next to China.

If a 67 year cycle plays out then I would expect to see a conflict by the 25th June 2017

I believe that it is necessary to limit the age of the presidents of countries with nuclear weapons. Maybe Trump does not care what happens to the world, he does not have much ....

Trump said if China will not take care of NK, then the USA will. KJU has never shown any interest in dialogue to calm the situation which has been brewing for years. They continue to develop and test NWs' in defiance of UN resolutions and sources say they will have capability to reach USA with NWs' in a few years.
Couple a defiant, isolationist leader like KJU with that scale of capability and tensions will be MUCH higher than they are now.
I agree Bush was stupid and aggressive going into Iraq. This is very different.

I hope that Trump knows that it is believed North Korea could fire 500,000 rounds of artillery on Seoul in the first hour of a conflict.

The impact on Dow should not be so bad (possibly 1000 pints when comparing to Iraq war). I hope that Trump value lives of thousands of innocent children more.

come on really? NK will do nothing, then as soon as the US fleet has gone i will launch some more test missiles. NK not as stupid as many think. They will not cause any provocation, they will wait so that later they can cry the victim and say they where just defending themselves. And the US are only there to stir the hornets nest in the hopes that NK will get the shits and fire some rockets, so then the US too can claim they were provoked.

Let Trump and fat boy slug it out in a ring, last man standing wins. Why should these two fools hang the future of the world in their hands. Fat boy is plain sick executing people with anti aircraft guns, Trump is a 70+ old man with the best years behind him. I did not vote for either of these two clowns, yet their actions could well destroy not only my life but millions of others. Take them both out, the world would be a better place for it.
