    The Pentagon says a Navy carrier strike group is moving toward the western Pacific Ocean to provide a physical presence near the Korean Peninsula. The U.S. Navy carrier the Carl Vinson Strike Group departed from Singapore to sail north on Saturday, the U.S. Pacific Command confirmed to CBS News. The carrier group includes the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, with support from several missile destroyers and missile cruisers. jpy and chf now!
I looked at the charts when the bombing happened. Looks like the pound and most other currencies spiked up against USD including the obvious safe havens JPY and CHF. This is different. Maybe a more sustained USD drop.

well...north korea is not getting anything from anybody. the dictator is losing is power and he has been killing his family members and is doing the missile things to scare its own population. if he is to be overthrown, he will definitely go out with a bang.

Frictions between the US and Russia seem to be inventible.

However, markets do not believe in any conflict escalation. They price-in free Trump money, making America great again, 4..5..6 hikes in 2017, balance sheet adjustment in 2017 etc, while world is slowly changing into powder keg.

At some point market will be badly wrong about recent and future situation and will crash....as always do.
