Looks like the USA expects STRONG USD coming and are trying to talk it down.

Good place to establish USD longs.
USA!

I think they want USD weaker.. Trump also commented about the dollar being too strong.. how can you export if your currency is strong and Trump wants US to be an exporting nation.. maybe policy change to weaken the dollar is in the horizon..

I was under the impression a weak USD has been the official policy for a long time now. Okay, officially it was a "strong dollar" but everyone knew that was double speak. Each decade the USD has lost immense value. That will change if the US build itīs manufacturing and economy.
USA!

It's a contradiction... Trump wants economic growth (wage increase as a consequence), and typically growth will cause inflation (aggregate demand expands faster than aggregate supply). So, the Fed will step in to increase interest rate... the USD goes up.

Strong USA and a weak Dollar ..is that both rightly fit in a reasonable frame ?? How long its going to talk down for USD and obviously reactions arrived after it's index trades above 103.50 that level noted. Assume that its not yet tolerable to goes above it ?

USD is too strong where it is now after a little pull-back. The problem is that the rest of the world's currencies are not leaning against solid economies either. I expect that the bankers will try to crank up pressure on the Brits, driving the pound too high, also. China is best positioned in terms of productivity, but the pervasive debt problem is a tough nut to crack. Everyone on earth is hoping for the miracle of being able to dodge the possible depression that looms. It will take a few unlikely events.

I didn't see it the same as you. I am of the opinion that the dollar being too high to export was what the bankers have used to keep the U.S. from making a significant come-back when they were re-inflating the equity and residential real-estate bubble.

USD will get stronger because there isn't going to be much international trade with USA anyway, and they don't want the Chinese buying "cheap" US real estate.

Yeah I think the global depression will come up eventually cause the debts are so high, global debt to gdp is like 250% and was 220% in 2007. When China's investment driven growth model finally hits the wall in a year or 2 or 3 commodities will collapse further and PPI and CPI will tank globally = depression.
