    President Vladimir Putin's government has just set a draft budget for the next three years based on the assumption Russia will be able to sell its oil for $40 a barrel. That's $10 below current world prices. Russia is the second biggest oil exporter after Saudi Arabia. It has been talking to the Saudis and other OPEC producers about restraining supply to support prices. Putin's budget suggest he wants to be prepared if a preliminary OPEC production cut agreed last month is not implemented, or proves ineffective. He may also have learned a painful lesson. My comment was by no means political, as FF is about trading and every piece of news is evaluated on this basis. My comment pertained to the fact that he is prudent with the budget and while Russia with the rest of the oil producers might be working on cutting supply etc, he is pragmatic enough to avoid problems similar to last year's budget when they budgeted oil at 50 and it was trading at 26. This news is important for all traders in USD/RUB.

Not all comments were unrelated and I didnt refer to you, I referred to people like him that use these outlets to expressed their weird political views.
