strong Manufacturing at over 54, strong Construction at 52.3, expect strong Services tomorrow. The British economy is holding up well. I think GBP won't get positive until it knows what impact the Brexit negotiations will have and that means weak up until mid 2017

IF you are fading in a multiday trade with low leverage and have the patience.. to wait for the relief rally.. then probably ok..
BUT I dont see chart patterns that suggest that a short term floor is in and NY session will see counter trade.. necessarily .. momentum is decreasing ok..
Always possibility in fundamental driven moves that they will grind on.. with just a flag and no rebound. Theres no prior S&R down here for guidance.. but be surprised not to see retest previous low @97.

Pound getting hammered strong via GBPNZD, GBPAUD and EURGBP. Personally I like EURGBP longs as the most clean setup right now as it directly reflects the UK EU Brexit mess...

breaking: platinum down thru 1000, gold down thru 1300. the Brits are selling the family jewels to make up for sterling losses. but selling physical gold and platinum is a tough ask now. the Brits will have to negotiate with Indian jewellers, and the Brits have a very poor record when it comes to negotiating with Indians!

Why are you trying to pick the bottom? What is the logic behind it? I mean whatever the reason, looks like you missed on three attempts and you went for the forth one.
If the price goes lower are you gonna buy more because I'm pretty sure there are a lot of traders wanting to sell to you at those prices especially if your willing to hold for weeks.

No, not because the GBP & Euro aren't being rubbished by their CB's but because the USD needs to go lower soon, it's done all the heavy lifting for a while and soon it'll be the turn of the other currencies (they've been manipulating this since 2008)

My personal opinion - don't trade pound, kiwi, Aud, other funny currencies.

And a firm, painfully gained wisdom - don't buy.

Did i mention some old friends from chats - one was hell-sure about E/U topping over 1.55....
One was into carry trade. Buying G/J when it was going above 240
For all i know they are still buying...

GL.

You KNOW things are bad for Cable when you look for a bottom in the monthly Chart...
The whole planet is waiting for a retracement to short...again...and again...

Why don't just wait. Then short.

I understand the current fundamental picture right now regarding the Pound, but when the fear subsides, you watch just how fast all these short positions unwind.

I'ts going to be epic.

My opinion 9 oct when BOE keep rate unchanged + bad fundamental picture and fear subsides , today new tone for " May" she declare ( it's too early to say what kind of Brexit agreement deal will be struck with EU) What you think ? what about your opinion my dear ?

This is a fundamental structural move... directly related to Brexit.
Yes there will be counter rallies but hard to call.

Two key issues are now scaring the market.
1. The complexity and time scale for exit negotiations have been hugely underestimated and the FoM red lines makes compromise on either side and anything but a Hard Brexit v much more difficult than previously understood..
2. As a result..the COST of brexit was never fully understood by the voters.
When that becomes apparent.. in 1-2 years time, I believe it will lead to a new round of political instability in the UK.

They did it already the lowest price was 1.2790 (Brexit) market makers hit all stop losses new lowest price today 1.2685 for that reason it is good to go long now with market makers not against them .

I agree 100% . Any early election at UK can turn table upside down political situation very bad the Remain party still on hold till now when negotiations will begin sure they will react bad and maybe 'May ' will be under pressure.

That makes sense to me I think the down trend on daily which strted at around 1.3420 is at the end of wave 3, and now we are at end of wave 5 of that wave 3 on H4 , I expect a W4 correction to at least 38 percent .
