    When answering Parliamentary questions on September 16, 2016, Netherlands’ Minister of Finance Dijsselbloem has announced that he will start working together with the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) on an advertising ban in the Netherlands for toxic investment products for consumers. The AFM has been warning consumers for some time about binary options and the leverage effect of Contracts for Difference (CFDs). France AMF has already banned advertising on Forex products, binary options and some CFDs, followed by a complete ban on all leveraged Forex, CFD and binary options trading in Belgium. ... Actually i don't mind these adverts
I don't care. Having 2 brokers and diligently researching for my third is fun.
Secondly: these stupid adverts helped me to eliminate Forex.crapon and others.
Third - these ads remind me how many naive people are out there... The bread of forex trading

The downside is for these people - losing money. But it's like smoking or drinking etc - your choice. Go to Thailand or Cyprus if you want....

What manipulations? You can't expert the market to follow some stupid retail indicators, lines and tunnels...where is the skill in that? Everyone would make money then. The problem with forex is, people think its a holy grail, but its just a business as any other...you need skill and patience to make money, not to spend 5 hours on babypips and start trading.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

Totally true.
Forex is a good deal if you know what you are doing, if you are responsible, and have a regulated ECN Broker.
Indicators always obey Price, not the other way.
When the Netherlands said they were going to ban Binary options I thought they were talking about their legal prostitution and soft drugs .
It's estimated that at least 90% of traders lose money and perhaps even more so with Binary Options and Forex. And right now the market stinks - it's pretty stagnant due to a lot of fears and expectations. I have been learning Forex since May, and right now there isn't a single common currency pair that is Trending. And trading trends is the easy way of making money. So far this week, the movement on most pairs has been weak- couldn't even see a decent range trade. Point: Not a market for novices...
TBH, I think all advertising for gambling or trading should be banned. But.... If you want to look it up on Google the options should be there. If you are interested, you will find it. If you want to bet on horses, you don't need advertising to tell you where to go - you just go to the track or google betfair etc.. If you want to be a trader you'll google brokers and visit their sites. We shouldn't need adverts popping out of magazines, newspapers, websites to lure people in. Although advertising trading has been around for decades..
France and Holland are in the guts of the communistic EUSSR. They are nations that need to free themselves from their shackles.

Nice one!! I like that! Experience has taught me that forex is as transparent as (if not more transparent) than others. All you need is more experience, further research and patience. Rely less on peoples strategies and develope yours.

May indeed. I have been forexing for over 2 years now for your information. It is not only at trending markets that you profit. You may also profit on a quiet but spiking market. The rage in the market may also be the reason not to profit. It all depends on maturity in forex, just like one matures out there. My advice is that anyone who does not have a job should stay out of forex - it is meant for the employed, not banning adverts or whatever.

Anybody who losing forex or binary trading...this is his own problem! If people losing 10 % from the deposit and he don't give up the trading and don't go back to demo practice , he's a stupid gambler. And this is not the broker's problem, this only the trader's problem! Mental problem...

Politicians said "because fast losing in the fx and binary"... Bullsht! Go and trade montly chart. That's not fast losing.. Isn't lottery fast losing? is Binary 60 min trade fast losing?

The problem is in the heads and not in the cfd market...

This is gonna backfire, like all government attempts to control markets. This will scare off all the big brokers who treat clients well and who abide by laws. But the small unregulated sh-tty brokers will take there place. In the end, Holland traders will suffer.

Ha ha! So its fine to smoke pot in public and for prostitutes to parade in pubic. But its's somehow bad to trade FX. Dumb dutch got it backwards again.
Trading is tough, if you don't bother to learn how, then you will lose all your money. Most people think its easy,and these companies make out it is. You can make money trading, but just like any other thing in life, unless you learn how to do it you will lose.
Government have responsibility to citizens those who will loss all their money in minutes so they limited Offline advertising cause brokers told them via advertising they can make money by investing in fx but it's difficult those who don't have more than 3 to 5 years experience

Online people will trade even ban they can trade under dark web or in company that registered in Cyprus , Singapore etc ...

well, those binary options shouldn't just be banned. They should be prohibited as a business completely. It's all scam!

The majority of people have problems finding out which direction market is going, whether it's up or down. Imagine if you put into equation time also, in addition to direction. Think about it. And the funny part is that when you win you get smth 70% or 80% if i'm not wrong. When you loose, you loose it all. Go figure.

if you're a novice in trading, and you thought about trying binary options, pls stop immediately. It's gambling. It has nothing to do with investing. OK?!
