Stronger-than-expected GDP boosts rate-hike expectations The dollar advanced against its major rivals Friday after fresh data showed the U.S. economy grew in the first quarter at a faster pace than initially estimated, adding to investor expectations that the Federal Reserve might raise interest rates as early as June.
