Don't believe the hype! There was so much noise surrounding this data release. I nearly closed out at an 80 pip loss before retiring too bed based on what analyst were predicting. Glad I didn't.

Just stand aside from this storm. My prediction was wrong. Luckily I did not burnt my account, eventhough I missed the move exited safely. Good luck for others.

What a move! So basically they are not adding to the stimulus they are already doing. Traders did not like that! HFT must have been behind the giant instant move. But for good reason, it seems like the BOJ is very reluctant to ease anymore..

The use of economic calendar, when there is that little red square under impact title, unless you've been trading for a few years know of int'l trades, plotting politics and finances, think of it as a red light, cancel open and pending positions well before bell time, turn your computer screen off , sit back, play golf, walk around the block, bitch with your wife or whatever it takes but unless you're up to cleaning your account... come back in after around 1 to 2hours for the market to stabilize, better come back next day, don't bet this market, it can really hurt if you go in with eyes close, remember patients and discipline will make you a bit more than a few dimes. BoJ is very fierce among the central banks who can turn markets reverse for sure. RED FLAG if it's them. We will have a yen direction until their next meeting. Confirmation will be USD/JPY breaking its bottom at 107.60/62/50 lines . Otherwise it will be in a range. Look for next break of support of all JPY crosses for further sell positions.

lol Is more like media is spreading rumors last week regards it the Bank of Japan increase therir qe. My guess is some big guy was shorting the yen at beginning of the month when the yen was gaining big, so they used media last week to spread rumors about BOJ going to increase their qe stuff to weaken the yen last week. BOJ never give clues what they going to do with their policy in the past. When they do it they just do.
I feel sorry for those who still bet on a weakening yen. Look at the monthly chart. 102-104 is the final stop. You may stop hunting in 99.
