Everyone is keep denying that the helicopter money is on the table, yet it keeps on cropping up. The fact that it's even mentioned in first place is something to think about. It might not happen quickly but mere fact of being mentioned probably means it's going through a gestation period where, slowly, they are trying to get everyone familiar with the idea.

Germany's Finance Ministry on Saturday denied a magazine report that it would consider taking legal action if the European Central Bank resorts to "helicopter money" distributions to euro zone citizens, an extreme form of monetary easing.
