I laugh at people who sincerely think the stock market equates to the real economy. Banks are in good shape credit wise so it doesn't matter what happens to stocks, just as long as banks have ways of funding their loans whether through market based assets or depositors.

I'm a little confused by what you are trying to say. Do you think Banks need to run out of funding options for recessions to occur?? Dear God, if that's the case, the banks would collapse every recession lol...
You do know a drop in confidence is all is needed to create a recession right? These things a cyclical (Just like the market )
