  • Turkey shoots down military jet over Syrian border – local media report plane is Russian

    Turkey has shot down a military jet which it says violated its airspace near the Syrian border. Turkish TV reports described the plane as Russian, and video posted by the Haberturk TV station appeared to show the jet coming down in flames. A military official, quoted by Turkey's Dogan news agency, said the plane was shot down by Turkish F16s, and that the pilot was given prior warning. He did not say which nation the plane was from. Now are seriously problems. Don't think russians would digest ease tjis dish. Would start some retallion from russia army. Would see what happens in the near future.

Russia is not going to attack a NATO member country. Putin is far too smart for that - but he is deliberately provoking them with repeated incursions into Turkish airspace, maybe trying to drive a wedge between Turkey and the rest of NATO.

If other members eventually kick Turkey out of NATO, he has a whole new playground to start carving up .... this could be the opening move of a very long game?

The Hegemons of todays time already repeatedly said that Turkey has all the legitimacy to strike unathoritized airplanes on their land - and so they did.

yeah they gave plenty of warnings, even said the next one would be shot down, and the Russian planes kept coming.

They now realize that ISIS is garbage after pressure from the west and have clamped down on the border and started bombing ISIS along with giving the US an airbase there to use against ISIS.
