In response to Yellen. Good job! Don't listen to any of the assholes who say you have to raise the rates. FED should do what is good for the US, nothing more and nothing less. Period.

And in addition to that comment I say. SELL your USDs for EUROs. They are SOOOOO much better off with their robust economy, especially since their total GDP is much higher than the US, right? Its not like any of the data is skewed due to the fact that all the data that comes out of EUR is Y/Y and in the US its M/M.

Your money is safe there and as a bonus you get a negative interest on your carry trade! Enjoy

Very Disappointed. This is how I channel out my disappointment. I think FED choose to play safe, and for me that's the right thing to do. Yellen has terminated QE, she doesn't need to do more to shake the market. She can take the credit and walk away.

But I have to think more about my trading. I got carried away to believe she is brave enough to terminate QE and raise IR. Apparently not.

Hello: the fed doesn't do what is good for the US; it is privately held. I am so boring writing that on ff that I have stopped bringing it up for a while. Do the research on the history of why we have the fed - the fed is the enemy of the US - if it had motivation to help, which is does not (again, it gets to call the shots with "our" currency) then it would have long ago arranged to fund zero percent loans to small businesses, for example, which statistically hire the most people when they are allowed to function freely, which they decidedly are not because of our country's policies. Entrepreneurs are strong creative people. Those who control the fed, and those in Washington, and those who participated in outsourcing US jobs nearly two decades ago: do not want people who are hard to control. That is why the middle class is systematically being destroyed. That is why hordes of people are coming in through the southern nonborder - who are unskilled, dependent, and will vote to retain this "status."

The US was doomed on the day in 1913 that the fed came into being. The president in charge deeply regretted his participation. He stated he had sold his country.
