But institutions and big players have already bought below and are long and not selling and holding long-term. All the selling from retail gets taken out with margin calls. Boom.

Careful with that belief. Greek negotiators have seen the writing on the wall.
Writing that written by Zeus (or someone similar). Expect a deal to drop out of nowhere and then Euro may fly. It may also tank depending upon the deal terms.

thats also true..they might have no choice but to give them the free pass..(like you said depending on the terms of the bailout), but do you honeslty believe that the Grexit is the sole reason thats keeping institutions from loading longs especially from low levels we are at? theirs no other fundamental pressure on the eur? im not a technical trader..just use it as a tool to time an entry or exit..but look at the MN chart of the eur/usd..can you tell me thats technically speaking its not of the verge of a collapse down to .93-.98 back to the 2001-02 levels? taking the drop in the price of crude into consideration..back in the 80-90's, the exact same scenario happened when we deflationary economy in europe and crude was deaded down to mid 30-40s..eurusd @.88..etc..etc..too much fact to post here..

I believe that while the ECB is printing that strong force will weaken Euro.

However the strongest force in the market is sentiment; investment flows could drive Euro higher - especially if Grexit is viewed as a stumbling block that is suddenly removed, also the EZ trade balance continues to be positive and that is Euro bullish. With the ECB printing the main thrust of 'new' money will likely go to the Euro-bourses just as US QE drove the S&P.

So I just think one should be careful around this time of focussed interest on the Greek situation.

I can understand it being a "knee jerk" reaction, but that only happens to gamblers. Why would you jump in front of a car, only because you believe that the person driving will see you and be able to break in time without killing you. EU eat up 3 daily pivots, and a monthly pivot.
Do you remember several months ago when EU spiked up after FOMC statement and 2 hours after it popped up again 150 pips in 5 mins Stop hunt, but a person shorting it because it was a hunt, goes against the way the market works. If traders only respected extension, reversal, and accumulation rules will they be able to see that picking tops and bottoms at best is like wagering heads or tails.

The past week EUR already shows all the making of ignoring all good news from US and ignoring all bad news from EU, what else could it be?

The reality now is EUR is up at least for the next 200 to 500 pips, regardless of what happened unless the Greed talk show total failure, which is unlikely to happen anyway, someone will buy the bill , not even if US declare rate up now.

Believe or not? let see how it work out.
Basically I traded this and profit from it.. I entered the trade after confirmation of the line breaking but didn't know such a move will happen..

That is so true, basically, as you wrote, fundamentals are just an excuse. No matter what would happen today, EUR was bound to rise.

I find market moves very precise and well organised. However I wouldn't call it manipulation of some small group of interest. Rather a view of majority what needs to be done next.

Each move is predetermined.
This cannot be true, there must be some form of special arrangements by some people to cause this spike. We may not know it now, but some time in the future the truth will be made known.
I was out of the currency trading areas today, very usual for me.
technical move, helped by solid EU and bad US data..logical move..weekly resistance level reached, now waiting for more news tomorrow, if any news should be worse / much better than expected, we could see a significant move..+ECB press conference guarantees volatility..focus on the news!

Rally ... sure. But this wasn't just a rally, it was severe reduction in liquidity after the stop run at 1.1070 and above ... when you see price go 20 pips in a second you know it's cause there's noone there to buy.

Which brings me to a more important point ... this happened the most liquid currency there is, and while the move may be justified or whatever, it points out just how illiquid the spot forex market really is.

i made around 350-400 pips from this rally i was expecting this from yesterday lol i was preying on it like the lion and the gazelle.

I honestly don't believe it cost millions of dollars to move the market. Reason being is because the market (forex) has no limit in terms of the amount of lots which can be held. Essentially, if the limit or better yet said "the most" amount of lots which can be bought and held then there is no real way to calculate how much money it would take to move the market x amount of pips.
Basically, since the banks have market depth, it allows them to see how many pending orders there are at every specific price, but it can never calculate the potential amount of lots which can be placed (aka FLOAT in stocks).

Take a look at what happened. At the New York open, no news, no war declarations, no sudden declarations of bankruptcy by Hank Paulson, just a massive short against the US$ on at least 3 majors (Eur, Gbp & Jpy). This is one of those 'manipulation' moves where big money decided to test the strength of the market..... oh and there were options expiries due....

The market moved 130 pips in 15 ~ 20 minutes. If you concentrate on a low-time-frame chart such as 5m (my preference), and if you have watched some of these moves in the past, you can see the exhaustion setting in during the last minutes or minute of the up-shift. I was not alone in trying to sell in the 1175 ~ 1195 region, which is why my order was rejected even though my platform accepted the market order (= fill at any price); there was no liquidity at that instant. Maybe I need to widen my slippage setting.

To the general reader of this post: anybody trying to catch a falling knife may lose their fingers; leveraged trading can result in losses which exceed your deposit; you swim with the alligators at your own risk; ...blah ...blah ...risk capital ...blah ...blah.

Yes I understand your your post, and the reality is I only trade using 1m and 5m charts. You can see right before that major spike up on EU, looking at the 1m and you will see that after exiting the accumulation high you didn't have one red engulf candle. It just happened to be that the move was massive, but the reality is the market runs in loops. It doesn't matter if there is news or not, the reality is breakouts will occur to counter the masses. hERD trading is the name of the game, and until people understand that, they will always be stuck looking the charts like what happened.

This was not herd trading.
This was a run at an option level to score a win by people who place big bets on currency pairs.
