    Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 223,000 in April, and the unemployment rate was essentially unchanged at 5.4 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Job gains occurred in professional and business services, health care, and construction. Mining employment continued to decline. Household Survey Data In April, both the unemployment rate (5.4 percent) and the number of unemployed persons (8.5 million) were essentially unchanged. That is a surprise, really good data. Salaries could be better, but it will come in time.

PS,

Salaries should be around +0.3%-0.4% to be satisfied.
but I guess everybody understand that 2015 Q1 and early Q2 data is too few to begin with rate hikes in this year....

Okay, I read the article and found last month's modification. It previously was 126,000 and now they revised it to 86,000.

Somehow I am not shocked that the government didn't report the 86K number originally...

simple, ECB do not want weak euro neither Fed to strong dolar
prices don't really rally on good data.
