  • EURUSD: How Low Can You Go?

    The North American trading session is kicking off with some excitement this morning as renewed fears of a Greek exit of the Eurozone have been stirred up for the 1,487th time in the last few years. The euro is taking it on the chin as the EUR/USD fell all the way to a 12 year low at 1.0720 before bouncing back up in a way that some would categorize as posthumously feline toward 1.08. Equity markets are also taking a hit with both Dow and S&P reversing all the gains they earned yesterday while Gold has earned a little safe haven seeking boost. The only number anyone seems to say on tv or in print is parity, so until we reach that, I am not sure why anyone would look for a bounce.

How low can we go...parity~0.95-ish before we get a huge bounce.

Honestly though, it'll be tough to keep going low without correcting upwards by this summer, since by then QE will have hit Europe fully, causing a temporary revitalization of their economies (which are scheduled to modestly improve in mid-term).

My advice is to wait and sell on the bounces.

EUR was 0.82 USD in 2000. Don't be surprised if we see below 1.0 rather soon.

There is no information about the title in the news!! Blablabla...

It is normal to go down while there is the greek problem. At the same time, is not only about the Euro, Dollar is getting stronger...
