  • Euro pops through 1.14 in a quick move

    From forexlive.com

The euro ran stops above yesterday’s high of 1.1362 in a quick 40-pip rally. The move was entirely stop driven. I noted yesterday that the euro must be a Seattle Seahawks fan because it fell 1 pip short of that level. That helped to cluster buy stops there and more were above other recent highs stretching up to 1.1382.

increase in the price of the currency pair EUR / USD is only temporary, because fiscal policy on Greek debt decision which will be completed soon. but if the price through on 1.6 might be this is turning point of euro

What's the news that's causing EUR to jump so much? There's been nothing concrete so far besides the trioka issue.
USD/CAD seems to be moving nicely along with oil.

Actually it is a turn. What you would call a reversal in technical analysis - I see it more as a phase up the current TF-2 cycle at least at this point - there is as such time before most (not employing fractal geometry and chaos to trade) realize this. This is simply because a turn at this stage involves MN changing course and you know what they say about a big ship turning. In any case that is the picture cheers and I would not hold on to long-term shorts at this point . So becareful.

The correction have started from 1.1095 level, but correction not trend chenge, you can see in the dayli chart many trend line break with a fake-out by 20/50 pips then.... came back to the original trend, for reversal we must wait more pips up. Maybe i don't belive it. not for now in this situation

I'm only long on Euro, preferably with no leverage - sell dollars for euro and then swap in 12 months for cheaper dollars again. Would never short the euro bellow 1.24 for dollar. Trading retail EUR/USD with 30-50 pips stop loss is guaranteed fail.

its a great place to fill orders, b ecause of the number of shorts up here with stops. This is what forex is all about, if you got hammered, then you still have a lot to learn about trading.

Wrong !!! The real reason most likey was the positive euro news on the Greek debt crisis. Mentioned by lan in the EURUSD thread web page 47839 Feb 3, 2015 8:42am est.
