So? An Italian make plans to spend German money. Do Germans agree? I doubt it. And I also think Germans have to agree even if 99% of other Europeans say they want to spend German money. Mario Dragi still sounds like a video game to me.

Its not the wrong or the right side, its always the market side be it bull or bear, until now the EU is on the bear side so selling rallies on the DTL (Down Trend line) was the smart thing to do but the move is not over yet, the EU is showing signs of retesting former support and a possible inverted H&S could be on the map for tomorrow's NFP release so cautious is advised.

Best.

Lol that's too funny and blatant what they just did... Nfp will be bad tommorrow, so they are stopping the eur accumulating too much strength... Clever... Now the highest it will go tomorrow is 2500 from this base.... Imagine if eurusd did close at 2480...bad nfp would push it to 2600... That's too strong currently for the eurusd....

Yes , following the trend and knowing how far one can go is a good path to trading fx. It was clear that the upward strength will terminate at 1.245x and a potential reversal at that point.

Had a bad feeling going into ECB conference today, seemed everyone was talking of QE, hyping it up but there were no real signs that the ECB were going to begin QE running into the conference. Price was posed a the bottom of the daily channel, teasing for a breakout.

So when I seen the chart after the conference I knew nothing had happened as all those shorts had to bail out.

Still short, my stop didn't get hit, but I'm an uncomfortable short who might get taken out tomorrow.
