You are probably right about the Yen and very wrong about the Euro. A correction is always an interesting period since in fact the measures of its strength is not something a lot of traders know about and what is more impatience for the trend to resume certainly distorts our take about what is going on as does the disorientation of a falling market not too long in memory "suddenly" turning up. Lets see what happens at about 1.30 if or not we rise above that.

On 13.10.2014 EURUSD traded between a high of 1.2761 and a low of 1.2620 closed at 1.2752. Today the pair trades above the neck line of the bullish trend line at the price of 1.2640.
Upside Scenario: If the bullish trend line at the price of 1.2640 holds, a rise to levels of 1.2775 then 1.2835 could be seen.
Downside Scenario: If the pair breaks below the bullish trend line at the price of 1.2620, this could push the pair to decline into the levels 1.2560, then 1.2500.
