Poland - a country (or shall I say politicians) that will do everything to humiliate its citizens. Kick them out from country, those who stay are disrespected by law and used by so called businessmen (assholes in SUVs). You get only 700 Euro tax free, rest of income is taxed, national minimum after taxes is something like 300 Euro with prices of everything at Western Europe level. Most expensive roads in the world, taxes on everything, even wedding presents. Inland revenue treat's citizens like thieves, all they have to do is to prove you really are. If they won't and waste your life - ok nothing happened. Photo radars everywhere just to gain as much money as possible and waste it. Huge amount of clerks everywhere, unions and its members who get salaries but don't work, so called Government companies like railways or mines with boards and chairmans with huge salaries for ruining them companies. People who are not comfortable commit "suicide" and for some reason CCTV never works when they do so.
I could go on like that for days. So called democracy has ruined the country. Never believe when you read that it's getting better in this country - it's getting worse.

Well, at least they have their own currency... Think how bad will it be if poland had the euro.

The politicians want Euro and it's just a matter of time. Point is society will never raise against them as society is divided, atheists and Catholics, left wing and right wing, po (citizen platform) and pis (law and justice), so they fight each other, and the real enemy (government) does whatever wants

I live in Poland, I agree with most of what you say, but if you can earn money globally (fx trading) its a great place to live. I have a cleaner at $2.50 an hour, a nanny for $1.50 an hour. My main lament is the cost of drugs if you are ill, especially if you have young kids.

remember that fact that our politicians argue over Ukraine (can't understand why) doesn't mean we have to start hating each other. I've nothing against Russians, I think they are nice people in general, maybe different mentality that Western Europe, but very nice and friendly people

you're right, we're good, it is strange that a lot of Poles hate us, maybe because we liberated them from the Nazis in 1945, and maybe because we stopped eating them apples...

It is our politicians who make situation look so bad. I assure you that most Poles has nothing against you. It is political games. Most people are pissed off with the government that works against us
