  • U.S. hiring seen rebounding in September

    From reuters.com

U.S. employers likely stepped up hiring in September and the jobless rate probably held at a six-year low, which could bolster bets on a Federal Reserve rate hike in mid-2015. Economists polled by Reuters expect U.S. non-farm payrolls rose by 215,000 last month, with the jobless rate staying at 6.1 percent. Hiring had faltered in August but a range of signs from robust retail sales to optimism among factory managers point to a level of economic vigor unseen since before the 2007-09 recession. Ok. So the article talks about the dollar getting stronger post NFP with good numbers expected.
But I am long in EURUSD and GBPUSD expecting bad figures.
Waiting for the outcome of today's major event.

Don't much care what the "pre-election" BS numbers will be. The buck is due a good correction at the very least. At least that's what my charts say.

Anybody who believes this crap seriously needs to wake up. Yes world, I'm speaking to YOU! Just the fact they claim a 6.1% unemployment rate here is so far from reality it would be laughable if not so sad.

Bring on the BS data. I'm short UJ and holding. Maybe I'll be wrong in the end but if so, it's only due to pure BS.

According to my analysis, NFP results will be positive but since the dollar is due correction & seeing the ADP NFP results' Dollar reaction I would avoid having any open positions.

In no way am I saying that this is certainly the bottom. It may be a bottom, or may be a correction, or oversold zone , etc.
All I am interested is in taking a position and trying to gain from it.

Bottom of EU is 1.21

Won't go up until then, NFP will be a big beat today, gold and EU going down hard.

This time the article was correct.

After yesterday's Challenger job cuts figure I had a hunch that the NFP would be good, but the real kicker is the unemployment rate moving 0.2%.

I know these figures are all made-up in the recent days, but they do seem to have an effect sometimes.
