eur can't stop climbing until area is non competitive. Then back down. It's way to high for a area wide recovery, but there is nothing to do but talk about it. When unemployment climbs again and exports drop, investors will worry and pull money out. As long as bonds can sell, Eur is up.

at 1.42 ... 1.45 will be the death of Euro, as the economy of eurozone members in the east of europe can't survive and one by one they will retreat from the euro project.
Mario made a huge mistake by letting euro/usd go above 1.34, the collapse of euro will be huge.

ECB have excuses that EZ unemployment and economy are not direct effect of Euro strength. They also have an excuse, if EZ unemployment is OK. Look at Germany, the unemployment rate is at 5%, one of the lowest in OECD, and going down.
