I wonder if this news..
" Europe Considers Wholesale Savings Confiscation, Enforced Redistribution " .. had anything to do with the price spike?

I guess the market is betting against ECB to fail on their policy. Strong EUR means weak or even zero EU growth. We will see tomorrows EU's GDP.

EU is ruled by Germans, they are happy with a strong EURO.

But smaller countries are going into trouble in the future if it keeps rising this way.
Above 1,4000 licking wounds will be a daily task

kuroro001 why do you think Germans are happy with the strong euro? It's an exports country and with the strong euro, the prices of their goods become higher in the global markets thus making them less competitive.

"Fresh highs"? What crap is this? And from what idiot?

These prices are so stale, they stink! It has been in a range, that well encompasses these prices, for over a month now!

Sounds to me like the idiot is short (or should be) and is trying to poise EU in a bullish scene. If longs get sucked in, that is liquidity enabling more shorting, and without dropping the price.

Maybe not an idiot after-all! Maybe just deceiver!

its sucks. i am a bear too. lately the "bear squeezing" become ridiculous. with high frequency trading equipment and systems during low volume hours they create false breakouts and suckers followed further.
I cannot even guess when this squeeze will end.

Too many bears on EurUsd is causing that there is not enough power to sell and move prices lower. It is very healthy to shake off some bears from their positions and to confuse traders. Then it will be possible to move E/U lower and lower

did you look on the daily chart lately? it is not going anywhere. they run price up and down, when based on fundamentals eur must be in 1.20 area or below.
they already shacked off all the old bears. now they are screwing off fresh herd.

Agree. It is right in the middle. To me buy EU @ 1.35 and sell @1.38 . And better wait for a clear direction. It has to break clearly 1.35 to 1.38 range...

The point he's making is fundamental analysis doesn't impact the markets immediately. If it were, he's saying price would be a lot lower than it should be currently.
