  • EU budget talks collapse following rows over funding increase

    Talks to agree the European Union's budget for next year broke down amid rows involving among member states including Britain – sparking a new funding crisis. Eight hours of negotiations in Brussels ended in walkouts after MEPs refused to drop demands for an extra £13.8 billion in European Union spending for this year and 2013. The failure of the talks casts a fresh doubt on whether a major summit to agree to the EU's future funding from 2014 to 2020, scheduled for later this month, can go ahead. Budget meeting is always confronted with negotiations...The media is is just blowing it up....For Euro Zone, the Chinese extra ordinary growth is a good news, Which I would presume that will put the Euro ZOne on positive notes.

It should be clear by now that EU and quite possibly the majority of politicians does not belong in the brainiac box. Displaing a total inability to add 2 and 2 to arrive at a result of 4 is eerie to say the least. But all must be good in the EU as some other politicians awarded the misconstruction the Nobel peace prize 2012. If there are insufficient funds to run the individual countries in most of Europe, how sensible is it to spend horrific amounts of money on yet more politicians and burocrats?
They will agree to something, but it really is nothing as Europe is flat broke.
