    Italy's national statistics body ISTAT threatened on Thursday to cease issuing data on the economy, saying it had been crippled by government spending cuts aimed at reducing national debt and righting public finances. The euro zone's third biggest economy, whose statistics are closely watched as the country's huge state debts put it at the center of the bloc's financial crisis, would face stiff European Union fines if the flow of data is cut off, ISTAT President Enrico Giovannini was quoted as saying. "Spending cuts are putting ISTAT at risk. From January onwards we will not issue any statistics," Giovannini ... (full story)

50 Years of nothing our politicians babeling babeling but nothing this is the result. But they are very good about to spend public money to help their friends. How to correct 50 years of spending and spanding ,public money theft Mob corruption never endeded raylways airports ports who pays the taxes ? always the same. Vat theft etc etc How much it will cost our super railway or high velocity train for what to export fastly Italian products in to Europe ? Messina bridge ? Why something done by the italian public administration must to cost 10 times in front of USA or Germany or France ? In Netherland and Germany they work 300 hours less than us ,why ?

to get poor people is doing something? to make close lot of industries is doing something right? he does what goldmann sachs want: to destroy Europe! wake up!!

i hate politician past and present in my country (Italy) but worst is for sure Monti, he is not a politician he is a fucking banker and bank as all know make only interest for themselves not for people.
think about it
