Unconfirmed. So who cares, really? I'm saying that the Dalai Lama bought some Euros for a trip and that is unconfirmed too.

if you are long from here, you may hold this position 4-6 weeks, just to break even(after 500-600 pips draw down)!

Euro has become a real mess last two months. Moves more like cable with suddenly banana moves and reversals every hour. Trading in trend does not work in this mess.

Forget CME. Swiss bank has been a huge buyer. And Russian names joined into the buying spree. Why, is still unclear.

It is because it is manipulated eversince the greek default risk, to make the investors think that the market has confidence in the eur area. Without this bitchy manipulation, the eur would have seen already 1.20-1.15 already 2 months ago..but be patient, it will come one moment where the majority of the market will enter their short positions and you can see it fall like a stone rolling down the hill, which is hard to catch as soon as the manipulators positions are stopped out. This will then bring the EUR to the levels it belongs...can happen any time as soon as it gets below 1.3012

Just reading through all this - can anyone explain how so many currencies move at almost indentical times?? This morning at 7.20gmt Eur, GBP, AUD, GBP/CAD, EUR/JPY, NOK, SEK, CHF/JPY, CHF all had virtually identical moves. Is this still manipulation or does one big buyer of EUR instantly affect all correlated currencies? Or is this algorithims all kicking in together.
Any advice?

Thanks

It will be best if you correlate rumor about China cutting RRR with this piece of rumor. When you add both rumors together, you get all currencies gaining strength against the dollar buck. Simple isn't it? Don't ask the manipulator why, just follow them but not blindly.

Buy the Hope and sell the Truth

I think we should be more observant of actual price dynamics. It is no surprise. Most people entered risk long at yesterdays close - crystal ball? N0 - when after a selloff like we saw yesterday you observe lows being unwound with speed - take it that big money is buying cheap to take profit at some good level and vice versa. Ask yourself - why was the market not consolidating after a selloff or rally, instead working more like a reversal? Money talks - bs ... so trade not the theory but the practice. No surprise at all. Signed the Manipulator

Its a Friday so have some fun.
Am doubtful it is the Fed as the Fed is run by a bunch of bubble heads.
This is the work of a group that has a set.
That is something the Fed totaly lacks.

FYI - FED cannot be involve in FOREX, they have a strict US directive on that.

But there is no US state directive not to allow FED to give money to other US State depts to trade, lmao. So it's just a game on play by FED

I believe that US Treasury has the authority to order the NY Fed to act in currency markets.
This is too small a move for the US as an active player.

Heard of the BIS and a Phone? There policy is ultra Low Dollar, but we all know that, but anyway the whole thing is dubious to say the least....I have no Chrystal ball, it just looked to me that way, and also I believe the market was short so a few stops bit the dust, but really who knows for sure, trade what you see and not what you think, if you where short well I'm sure you had a good reason to be short, so did you see anything that changed your mind and if you did welll then the reason you where in the trade in the first place was no good....

Yep got 101 so far, up and down. Buy the rumor and sell the truth except to have some dumb ass yankie asking me have you long or short yet, ROFL. Well you can never please every one. What I know I can only share rather then some who doesn't even know what it's country is being run and telling/asking stupid dumb ass questions, rofl. There is always arm length transaction that state department will not be accountable for until being caught red-handed. Remember our brown envelope scandal in UK? lol

Hope your day is great so far with your pips. any training today?

I just got off the phone with Hillary and she confirms she had a late dinner with "big" Ben last night and he slipped her an envelope under the table full of hundreds and told her...and i quote "Go buy the euro early tomorrow morning and squeeze those shorts". Then he winked at her. I think that wink says it all.

One of the problems in America is we have a group of Hollywood drugies with an agenda, a mass media with the power to sway the sheep, and a political elite who have never slept in the cold.
The suspension of reality makes America vulnerable.
I really do fear for my country.

Ah the 3 stooges, hope they don't know your nickname here. Does it happen that one of their name is Moe? lol

Yep the budget was fked up! 3p rise in petrol come August, pensioners hit hard. 7% stamp duty for house > Ł2mln, what the shit was that!!! How many houses are worth >Ł2mln in UK considering the proportion of average earning people and high salary people.

Just 2 days back you were happy with pension fund, now it's all screwed up all again. Osborne is definitely not for us.

The most ironical shit of this budget was, for individual salary above Ł60K, they lose child benefit. The question is if the parents earn Ł59K each, the combine Ł118K they still are entitled to child benefit. Totally screwed up government, though I support their public sector cuts, too many lazy public sectors admin.......(no offense), once met a project manager from the council managing a multi-mln fund and she didn't know how to use excel for fk sake!!! Wonder if she uses the abascus to calculate her funds.

This only confirmed my fear of people who don't even know how their country is being run. Be very afraid is all I can say - go and print more of your bucks and drive in a tonner to get a pint of milk.

It is sometimes best not to respond to that type of comment jonahky7 as it leads to more BS.....and you may just be right about that tonner for a pint of Milk....

We need more fund managing blokes like you in UK, our future pensions depends on you guys.

Not surprising this morning, my buy indicator was shouting at 3192 to buy too and I was saying wtf!!!! The indicators was saying to buy all currencies in fact!! But I sold as I saw coporate offers at the barrier. So indicators are good for reference but otherwise I take it with a pinch of salt.

You must be saying O SHIT!!! Hope it's not lesson no. 1 otherwise a new mentor is required and you get your "P45" from that friend, just joking

Yes indicators do go wrong sometime, otherwise trade accordingly. Have a good day, I got another 50 to hit for the day and I'm off. But I think your indicators are working very well. I've just finished writing a ex4 script for moi 2 penny script, testing since last night - working on fine tuning it. Most probably it's a crap pcs of script for now but will improve it further to tune in to my other indicators O well.......the fun of programming

I heard options expiring 1.315 & 1.32 at 14:00GMT, so watch it.

Nothing new or alarming but Euro "crisis" is back. Greece bonds yield break whopping 20%, let's see what this devil may bring. Am sure it won't bother manipulators too much since they have tonnes of bucks to splash like ZWD.

I'm not telling anyone here to short or long, just for you, especially newbies to know what the sentiment is like and what and how the market will react. So stop asking are you long or short yet.

Average price of a house in Chelsea ~ Kensington is ÂŁ2m; and can't hide it in a company any longer because they pay 15%!!

This 'Britain welcomes high achievers' banter is really sounding flat.

You guys are forgetting the massive ECB overnight loans of a day or two ago. When they come up for repayment the ECB will likely want Euros, so the borrowers will have to convert back to Euros.....

Any advice?

Thanks
Ignored
The move was triggered by 2 big rumors, see my posts at 08:55GMT here this morning. When there are rumors, you buy and then sell. Typical rinse and repeat process.

When this rumor is on, the big players, in this case the Russians bought this morning - with their ZWD equivalent dollars soon to be, as some say here US will print its way out of trouble. Overnight support was at 1.31976 area for EUR/USD.

Few things you have to bear in mind in terms of sentiment analysis. Greece bond yield has shot up slightly above 20% today and Spain is shit too (we all know that it will be in this mess).

There is no typical reason for trends, you really have to follow more on sentiment out there in the market and trade wisely. Don't follow blindly.

Both side of Altantic are no good, with US only slightly better - but hey some folks believe in printing will get their sorry butts out of trouble. Just look at us Brits, had 2 QE already and we are paying the price our previous government left behind. Our one eye bandit PM previously sold our gold reserves at rock bottom value, guess he was just beginning learning how to trade at that time, lmao!!!

Good luck buddy

That really depends who are the earlier bidders at 3110/00 area and how much covering they are putting in for their long - if its sovereign bidders, you have to be careful. BB still have to talk today - so this house data may not pop too much until BB open his gob

+ watch out what option expiry is at 14:00GMT for EUR/USD

I've just started shorting USD/JPY. Rumor North Korean flew a missile to Sarah Palin house next door - only joking. Across the straits so Japan is tense up now - good time to short.

It was indeed sovereign bids at 1.3220 area just now. Another easy 60 pips from the up and down for moi.

Watch it buddy - don't fight against them. They may choose to sell in a while, who knows.

Will be good to see, one day, that these sovereign bidders get their ass wept clean! It will come one day!

Why not use price action if you don’t want to stay out of the market. PA to trade this should help no matter which way the market moves, unless it gets to choppy then I can only assume everyone is pulling in different directions which means no one has a bloody clue

I see lots of talk about "who" the buyers/sellers are since I came to ff. honestly, who gives a damn who the buyers are--it doesn't change anything--and nobody really knows it's all just pure hearsay and conjecture and speculation--trade what you see--and let the conspiracy theorists rant their paranoid diatribes about "who" it actually is. Does knowing WHO it is change one bit the fact that whoever it is, which doesn't matter one bit, defended 3150 for over 7 hours on Thursday's selling pressure. Sure doesn't.

3280 has double topped twice now this week on the 1 hour time frame. Watch for a clear break past 3290 next week to signal buyers still have control of market. clear breaks past 3310 and 3330 with little resistance or correction would be very bullish indicators.

Predictions a few of us here on ff made that 3260/3290 would be good selling points this week proved true and profitable. I expect the market to continue to be constipated in a tight range next week too. Buyers have entered at 3230 and 3150. Watch price action to see if they are still defending 3150 and if they are trying to raise the floor to 3230.

good weekend all.
