Record Share Of German Companies Sees Euro Fall
A record number of German corporates expect the euro to decline against the dollar over the coming three months, with their expectations corresponding with speculative market players for the first time in some months, a Commerzbank (CBK.XE) survey found Wednesday. The German bank's monthly survey found that 61% of the respondents expect the euro to depreciate against the dollar on the three-month horizon, up from 42% of respondents that saw the euro heading lower in December.
