Yup, time has come to replace USD by Brics on serious note...

This is what Trump published on his Truth Social account:

On Trade, I have decided, for purposes of Fairness, that I will charge a RECIPROCAL Tariff meaning, whatever Countries charge the United States of America, we will charge them - No more, no less!

For purposes of this United States Policy, we will consider Countries that use the VAT System, which is far more punitive than a Tariff, to be similar to that of a Tariff. Sending merchandise, product, or anything by any other name through another Country, for purposes of unfairly harming America, will not be accepted. In addition, we will make provision for subsidies provided by Countries in order to take Economic advantage of


Trump is a businessman and knows that the VAT imposed on goods imported from the US is just a thief tax + duty, so he will take VAT into account in his rates for Europe. So 22% VAT plus duty is around 30% in total. It will be fun.

A big play by Trump and associates: first, to hype up the value of the USD, and then for the associates to dump it. Why bring down the value? To attract foreigners to invest in building in the U.S.

Do you guys really thinks that the Brics are going to make their own currency and that it will be stronger than USD? Tell me the plan they have to make the rest of the world use it instead of USD, kinda like some good fiction in the morning
